We specialize in Freight Forwarding, Customs Clearing, and warehousing. We have more than 25 years’ experience in this field, and we offer a complete logistics solution for our clients. Our team has excellent knowledge of Tariff Classification, Customs Act, Customs Rules and Regulations. We handle a variety of Imports, Exports, and in-transit movements and are therefore one of the leading complete logistics solution providers in Namibia. 

During the past 5 years, our staff complement in Walvis Bay grew to 52 employees, which includes clearing agents and the operational team. This brings the total number of Namibian citizens permanently employed by Corridor Logistics to 275! 

We offer the following services to our clients:  

• We have a dedicated in-house team of Namibian clearing agents, as well as third party agents in Zambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and DRC who complement our services. 

• Negotiate freight rates with shipping lines. 

• Booking of cargo with shipping lines. 

• Prepare bills of lading and supporting documentation (e.g., F178, Certificate of Origin, etc.). 

• Pass the relevant documents at customs. 

• Warehousing of client’s cargo at our bonded / non-bonded warehouse. 

• Arrange for customs inspections. 

• Arrange for alternative authorities to do inspections, as required (e.g. state Veterinarian, Port Health Inspectors, Meat Board and SGS Inspectors). 

• Arrange the distributions or forwarding of the cargo as required by the client. 

• Arrange in-transit permits and documentation, if needed. 

• Stuffing/destuffing of containers; and 

• Arrange transportation to different SADC countries and DRC. 

• Specialized carnet services. 

WARESHOUSING

Our facilities include ample warehouse space available in Walvis Bay, allowing us to provide our clients with dry and reefer bonded storage facilities. We have 3 owned properties which give us access to a total of 10,000 sqm under roof storage and 41,000 sqm storage area. 

Our NAMRA Road bond has a guarantee of N$ 5.5 million.

Our Bonded warehouse in Walvis Bay has a guarantee of N$ 6.5 million.

• Accredited facility to fumigate and disinfect trucks and containers
• We have a team of qualified riggers to ensure the safe handling of abnormal cargo

Having our own in-house reach stacker ensures the most practical and fluid flow for daily operations. We currently handle an average of 450 containers per month. To ensure efficiency and fast service we also have 10 forklifts with qualified operators. In cases of extreme need, we are able to hire additional equipment. 

Our main warehouse currently handles 1,500 tons of malt imported from various European countries, in Transit to DRC, which we warehouse and transship. In addition to this, we export about 1,200 tons of fish to other African countries per month. We also pack between 40 to 80 containers of beverages per stack, for exportation from Namibia to various ports worldwide. 

Other commodities handled are Copper, Motor oils, Motor and Truck spares, Groceries, Heavy Machinery, Trucks, Cars etc.

Another warehouse is dedicated to Namibian charcoal being exported to Europe. The charcoal arrives on open trucks, is off-loaded, stored, and packed into containers. Volumes packed are about 150 containers per month. 

Our warehouse facilities are conveniently situated 5 minutes away from the Port of Walvis Bay. We can offer full-cycle transport service from port to our warehouse for containerized cargo.

We also transport goods straight from the Walvis Bay port to land locked countries including Zambia, Zimbabwe, and DRC. In addition, we are currently streamlining our plans to offer our clients the option to make use of our groupage option where we consolidate smaller amounts of cargo from different clients to give them a better transport rate.
